1. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

If you are a consumer in Finland or another European Union (EU) country, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period normally expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

You may notify us of your decision to withdraw before your order has been delivered.

For customers outside the EU, we voluntarily offer a 14-day return period from delivery, subject to the conditions in this policy and any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply.

2. How to Request a Return

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • The product you wish to return
  • The reason for returning the product, if you wish to provide one

EU consumers exercising their statutory right of withdrawal do not need to provide a reason or wait for our approval to exercise that right.

You must notify us within the applicable withdrawal period. After notifying us, please send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your withdrawal notice.

We will provide the correct return address and instructions. Please do not send products to our registered business address unless we have specifically instructed you to do so.

3. Condition of Returned Products

You may examine products as you would in a physical store.

You may be responsible for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Please return the product with its included accessories, components and original packaging where reasonably possible.

Original packaging is not a requirement for exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

For collectible products, damage to packaging or the product caused by unnecessary handling may affect the amount refunded where permitted by law.

For voluntary returns outside the statutory withdrawal right, we may require the product to be unused and in its original condition, subject to applicable mandatory law.

4. Return Shipping Costs

For a change-of-mind return under the statutory right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided this information was given before purchase.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

If you receive an incorrect, defective or damaged product, please contact us. We will handle the matter and any necessary return shipping costs in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Refunds

For a valid statutory withdrawal, we will refund the payments received, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard option are not refundable unless required by law.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a fee for the refund.

For voluntary returns outside the statutory withdrawal right, refunds will be processed after we have received and inspected the returned goods, subject to applicable law.

Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund.

6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order after delivery.

If a product arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us at info@mwango.shop and provide your order number and, where possible, photographs of the issue.

We will review the matter and offer an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Your statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods are separate from, and are not limited by, the 14-day withdrawal period.

7. Sale Items

Products purchased at a discounted price are subject to the same statutory consumer rights as regularly priced products.

A sale or discount does not remove your statutory right of withdrawal.

Any exceptions are limited to those permitted by applicable law.

8. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where applicable law permits, including:

  • Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised
  • Certain sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed
  • Other goods or contracts expressly excluded under applicable consumer protection law

These exceptions apply only when their legal requirements are met.

Opening ordinary collectible packaging does not automatically remove the statutory right of withdrawal.

9. Exchanges

We do not currently offer a standard direct exchange service.

If you wish to exchange a product, please contact us to arrange a return where eligible and place a separate order for the replacement product.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

10. International Returns

Customers outside the EU should contact us within 14 days of receiving their order to request a voluntary return.

Unless required otherwise by applicable law or agreed with us, customers are responsible for voluntary return shipping costs.

Import duties, customs charges and other fees are handled in accordance with applicable laws and the circumstances of the return. We cannot guarantee reimbursement of fees collected by customs authorities or third parties.

Mandatory consumer rights under the laws applicable to your purchase remain unaffected.
